I have been working on Obedience with Rhapsody and Rita. They have been going to Obedience classes once a week.
On December 4, 2008, Rhapsody passed Novice Leg A with a score of 186/200. The judge was Lisa White who is also a certified dog trainer. Rhapsody also passed Novice Leg B on the same evening with a score of 188/200. The judge was Lynda Husbands from the B'dos. Dog Training Club.
Rita passed Novice Leg A with a score of 183/200.
The passing score is 170 or higher.
Also passing Novice A and B, is a Boxer owned and handled by Jeff Evelyn. His Great Dane passed Novice Leg A.
The German Shepherd dog and the other Boxer did not sit the trials.
The B'dos. Dog Training Club's trainer for this Novice trial was Sue Blandford . I think Sue did an excellent job as she had all working/herding group dogs on the class:- a German Shepherd, 2 Boxers, a Great Dane, and my 2 Bouviers (who alternated lessons). Sue also worked very hard with everyone on the class and had a good understanding of the individual dogs and their challenges.
