Here is Derek Smith's critique for the Calliope Bouviers he judged:- Best of Breed, CC, Ch. Rick Lois From the Dogsfarm at Calliope on his maturity over his lovely daughter. Handsome dog in rock hard condition, lovely head and eye, strong neck and backline, super strong mover. Reserve Best of Breed, CC, Best Puppy in Group and Best Puppy and Best Locally Bred Puppy in show. Calliope Rhapsody. Lovely baby. She is a bit special, lovely head, darkest of eyes, so balanced and so very, very sound. So pleasing to go over and in wonderful coat and condition, so sympathically handled to get the very best out of her. I feel a star in the making if she matures on. Calliope Rupert. Well grown, well reared puppy, very nice type, must strengthen behind and more must be made of his presentation. Coat matted on underbelly. RCC. Calliope Rita. Another very typy puppy from this litter, again so well made, sound and firm and in lovely coat and condition. RCC Calliope Rebecca. Very similar to Rita above, and yet another sister. She is not so co-ordinated on move as her sisters and must learn to be handled better. See their critiques five months later, March, 07 I gave some puppy training to one of my friends, Lisa White of FireStorm Good Dog Training. Lisa is a certified dog trainer. So far I have trained two Bouviers to Advanced Obedience titles but I wanted to help a friend who has two male bouvier puppies from this litter and I had 3 female puppies running on at the time. Everyone enjoyed themselves with the training and Lisa was very flexible as she allowed me to select the areas we wished to work on. I think this training was also very helpful for us when it came to show time. Lisa accommodated us with the venue and the time that was convenient to us. The below pictures were taken at the end of the training classes which were held in the evenings and because of the time of the year, it was dark already.
Rebecca, an extremely affectionate puppy, gives Lisa a "thank you and good bye kiss"
